Su vida no fue sencilla y hay muchos mitos alrededor de ella. En esta otra nota te contamos la biografía de Marcela Basteri, desde su nacimiento en Italia, hasta sus últimos días Las Matas, España.

2. Murió en un tiroteo en Chihuahua
Mario Gallego, hermano de Luis Rey, padre de Luis Miguel, declaró en 2004 que Marcela Basteri pudo haber muerto en un tiroteo en Chihuahua, en el que habrían resultado muertas otras 4 personas.
De acuerdo con Gallego, Basteri habría asistido a una fiesta en aquel estado organizada por narcotraficantes en colusión con Arturo Durazo.
3. Fue asesinada
Ana María Reig, amiga de Marcela Basteri,afirmó que Marcela Basteri fue asesinada por órdenes de Luis Rey, el padre de Luis Miguel.
Esto lo declaró en un programa de televisión de España llamado Salsa Rosa.
De acuerdo con Reig, Luisito Rey le confesó que contrató a unos sicarios para que mataran a Marcela. El padre de Luis Miguel habría dado las instrucciones por teléfono y habría pagado 100 mil dólares por el trabajo, según ella.
Reig señaló que todo esto ocurrió en 1992.

4. Se fue a Italia y murió allí
Grace Renat, una actriz que era amiga de la madre de Luis Miguel aseguró que Marcela Basteri se fue a Italia y allí murió golpeada:
“Ella se fue a Italia y también es un hecho que ya no regresó. Yo digo que sí falleció. La mamá de Andrés García Jr. se enteró, me dijeron, que (murió) de golpes, pero no sé por parte de quién”, dijo Grace Renat a un medio llamado LMShow.
“(Marcela) me dijo que se iba a pasear, que regresaría y ya no lo hizo. Tiempo después me topé con Luis Rey, pero lo vi tan mal, muy pasado de copas, que mejor preferí alejarme”, agregó la actriz.

5. Vive en pobreza en Argentina
La última descabellada versión sobre el paradero de la madre de Luis Miguel es que vive en Argentina.
Diversos medios internacionales publicaron la foto de una mujer que vive en situación de calle en el barrio de San Telmo, en Argentina.
De acuerdo con una periodista mexicana, que subió un video a YouTube desde el canal Made in Buenos Aires, esta mujer es "bastante pulcra y todas las mañanas se levanta, se peina y se arregla". Destacó que nunca quiere revelar su nombre.
Sin embargo, esta versión fue recientemente desementida por el diario El País, que reveló la verdadera historia de esta mujer que fue vista deambulando en las Calles de Buenos Aires.
De todas estas, la versión más creíble es la del escritor Javier León Herrera, quien ya ha escrito dos libros sobre la vida de Luis Miguel, de hecho su último libro 'Luis Miguel, la historia' sirvió como base para el guión de la serie de Luis Miguel.
León Herrera fue entrevistado por Infobae sobre el paradero de Marcela Basteri:
"Desafortunadamente Marcela falleció. Por la investigación tengo más o menos situada la fecha del fallecimiento, fue en el último trimestre del año 1986, en España, sin lugar a dudas. Fue de causas no naturales", señaló.
"Marcela Basteri desafortunadamente no está en este mundo, falleció, no va a aparecer. Se reencontrará con su hijo en el cielo y ya está, no va a aparecer", remató el escritor.
